Let’s talk about Prices. I have been breeding over 20 years and prices for dog food, supplies, and veterinary care keep rising but have doubled since 2020. These rises in the cost of care have to be balanced out in the cost of a puppy. Breeding is not cheap and I find a lot of folks do not know exactly how expensive it is. In fact, due to French Bulldogs requiring C-sections and progesterone testing breeders are negative a few thousand dollars before they even place their first puppy from the litter. Add in that most responsible breeders do not breed litter after litter the budget has to be balanced out to carry supplies, vet care, and show fees through until the next litter. We also are taxed on the puppies we place. Some years we are negative in cost. We breed because we love this breed not because we are trying to make a profit. Let’s break down that price….
I start out at 3,000.00 per puppy which is less expensive than most of my fellow breeders. Most charge 3,500.00 or more especially for color. We do our best to keep prices affordable without cutting corners. We do not give our own vaccines. Our veterinarian sees our puppies at least twice before they go to their new homes. Many breeders give their own vaccines, and their puppies never see a veterinarian which I find sad and unethical. On average French Bulldogs live 10 to 12 years. Some even live as long as 15 years. You are essentially paying 0.82 cents a day to love and own your well-bred and healthy French Bulldog puppy at 3000.00 if he or she only lives 10 years. Less if your pup survives 15 years which I see more and more often. That is less than a soda from the gas station.
We unfortunately do not accept payment plans. Deposits (500.00) go towards the price of your puppy, but they are non-refundable. You can move a deposit to another future litter/puppy one time. We have more about this on our policy page. Deposits can be paid through cash, or Venmo. We do not accept checks or money orders. The final payment is due at pick up in cash only. There is a 10.00 fee for Venmo which you will need to add for a total of 510.00. There is an application process required before placing a deposit.
